Linda Kay Hawkins, age 63, of Rogers, Texas passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at her home in Rogers. She was born on August 25, 1961 in Corpus Christi, Texas the daughter of Ray and Betty Jo (Dockery) Sims.
A visitation will take place on Sunday, December 29, 2024 from 3:00pm – 5:00pm at Scanio-Harper Funeral home 3110 Airport Rd. Temple, Texas 76504.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 30th, 2024 at 11:00am at Friendship Cemetery, 9023 FM 1915 Davilla, Texas 76523.
Linda was a graduate of Spring Branch High School, worked in the admissions office of Scott and White emergency room for 20 plus years, worked for Mobile Chemical for 20 plus years, and was currently working for Baylor Scott and White Insurance. She was a member of Covenant Lutheran Church in Temple, enjoyed her horses and doing horse shows, was a lover of all animals, especially her cats and dogs and nothing compared to her dedication and love for her grandchildren.
Linda is survived by her husband Julian “Hawk” Hawkins of Rogers, sons, Ray Hawkins and wife Elisha of Rogers and Farrell “Buddy” Tircuit and wife Beth of Trenton, Texas, grandchildren, Alaina Mungia, Ava Mungia, Aiden Mungia, and Beckham Hawkins all of Rogers, Farrah Tircuit and Blake Winslow of Trenton, Texas, Jennifer Smith and husband Chris of Troy, and Miranda and Jacob Tircuit of Rogers, and great-grandchildren, Brantley Tircuit, Shep Tircuit, Kendal Salazar, Harper Marshall, Channing Marshall, Bennett Winslow, and Paxton Winslow. She is also survived by her brother Larry Sims and wife Bobbie of Friendswood, sister Diane Parchman and husband John of Goldthwaite, and four nieces, Annie Parchman, Sarah Hale, Katie Sims, and Jenny Sims.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 sons James Walter Tircuit and Thomas Eugene Tircuit.
