Kermit W. Wall, age 83 of Owl Creek, died Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at a Gatesville care center. A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors from 1:30-3:00pm Wednesday prior to the service.
Kermit Warren Wall was born November 10, 1937 in Owl Creek, TX to William Travis & Ila Eloise Lockabey Wall. On October 21, 1961 he married Mary Ann Wills. They lived in Temple a short while and moved to Owl Creek in 1969. He worked for 7-11 for over 25 years, retiring in 1982. Kermit loved the outdoors and was well known for being a fisherman and a hunter.
Kermit was a wonderful daddy and set a good example for his children on how to treat your spouse. He was very proud to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He loved all of his family and his Savior, Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by wife on May 15, 2021, a brother, Billy James Wall in 1957, a daughter, Traci Wall, a son, Joshua Wall, and infant great-grandchildren, Luke and Aaron Meihls.
Survivors include his children, Kim McDaris and spouse Bob, Kish Derrick and spouse John Alan, Travis Wall and Justin Wall; grandchildren, Tiffany Derrick and spouse Kevin Meihls, Kenny Chugg and spouse Brittney, Kayleen Ehrenborg and spouse Erik, Hunter Derrick and spouse Sheyla, Kellie Cazier and spouse Austin, Isaac Wall, Baylea Wall, Elyjah Wall, Breezy Wall and Matthew McDaris and spouse Danielle; great grandchildren, Ava Mueller, August Meihls, Colby Derrick, Kannon Derrick, Logan Cazier, Layla Cazier, Liam Chugg, Maximus Chugg, Owenn Chugg, Ezekiel Chugg, Eulalia Chugg, and Solomon Chugg.
