Jack Michael Wells

Jack Michael Wells, age 69, of Temple, Texas passed away on Friday, August 21, 2020. Jack was born September 7, 1950 in Belton, Texas to Jake and Jo Ann Wells. Jack was raised with six siblings, James Wells, John Wells, Jan Combs, Jeanette Mundell, Joe Wells and Jeff Wells.

Jack graduated from La Quinta Highschool in 1969. He served in the U.S. Airforce as a SGT and was stationed in Germany. During his time he earned the National Defense Service Medal and Airforce Good Conduct Medal. Jack worked as the head grounds keeper for the VA for over 20 years. He was blessed with two children, Jacob Wells and Amber Oden. He was also blessed with three grandchildren, Colton Rankin, Ashley Wells and Trent Locklear. Some of Jack's hobbies included golfing, softball, camping, playing with his dog Suzie and watching football and wrestling on TV. He was a member of the VFW. Jack is survived by his two children Jacob and Amber, brothers, John, Joe and Jeff, sisters, Jan and Jeanette and his grandchildren Colton Rankin, Ashley Wells and Trent Locklear.

A graveside service for Jack will be held Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Corn Hill Cemetery, Jarrell, TX with Ron Oden officiating.
