Eddie Gray

Junius Edward Gray was born on October 25, 1931 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to the late Herbert B. Gray and Effie Johnson Gray. Eddie married Gwen Dale Parrott on August 18, 1955 in Huntsville, Arkansas and she preceded him in death on May 20, 2009. He then married Dottie Neff Nye on June 19, 2010. Eddie was a minister of music for many years. He lived in Abilene, TX, Raleigh, NC, Dallas, TX, Lamesa, TX, Pasadena, TX, Houston, TX and in Temple for many years. Eddie was also employed at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Eddie was a member of First Baptist Church of Temple. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, a brother, Herbert Gray and by a sister, Margaret Gouge.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothea ‘Dottie’ Gray of Spring; his son, Jonathan Gray and wife Lucrecia of San Antonio; his daughter, Cindy Garcia and husband Thomas of Spring, Texas; his grandchildren, Jennifer Garcia Figarella and husband Jose of Spring, Shawn Garcia and wife Chelsey of Splendora, Justin Meier and wife Chelsea of San Antonio, and Colton Gray and Caleigh Gray of San Antonio; great grandchildren, Matthew Garcia, Ely Byrd and Waylon Garcia, all of Splendora, Klayton, and Beaux and Mac Meier all of San Antonio.
