

A memorial service will take place on Saturday, January 4, 2019 at 11:00am at Grace Presbyterian Church 2401 S. 57th St. Temple, Texas 76504.
A private family burial will be held at Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple.
Paul was a physician at Scott and White Hospital in Temple, a hospitalist for the VA Hospital in Temple, a member and Elder at Grace Presbyterian Church, a member of Gideons International and an avid violinist. Paul was awarded The Dallas Morning News Highest Carrier Achievement Award for business acumen, integrity, and meritorious service (1962) and the Leonard Tow 2006 Humanism in Medicine Award from The Texas A&M System Health Science Center College of Medicine in recognition of exemplary compassion, competence and respect in the delivery of care.
Paul is survived by his wife Debby of Temple, four children Joel Bolton and wife Sarah of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Luke Bolton and wife Jemma of Temple, Texas, Dinah Martinez and husband Eli of Houston, Texas, and Molly Bolton of Temple, Texas, and five grandchildren, Ethan, Piper, Gunnar, Adan, and Lance. He is also survived by a sister Mary Beth Rogers and husband Bob of Moore, Oklahoma, step brother Greg Hinkle and a step sister Phyllis Neal.
He was preceded in death by his parents Paul D. Bolton, Sr. and Gloria Bolton-Hinkle.
In lieu of flowers memorial to the Gideons International or to the charity of choice would be appreciated.
