Donald Ray Elliott

The family will receive friends for a visitation at Scanio Harper Funeral Home Monday, September 30, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00pm. Services will be 11:00am Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at First Baptist Church Moffat. Pastor Ridge Adams will officiate. Burial will follow at Robinson Cemetery, 620 E. Stegall Rd., Robinson, Texas.

Mr. Elliott was born in Temple, January 26, 1947, to the late Roe Olen Elliott and Mattie Lynn Reed Elliott. He was raised in Temple and attended Temple High School. Be e’er victorious! He married his beloved Dorothy “Granny D” Morgan on May 31, 1986. He worked for and retired from AT&T after 27 years of service. He enjoyed being on the family farm tending to the cows and the crops in Moffat. He was an avid Temple Wildcat, Texas A&M Aggie, and Texas Rangers fan.

Mr. Elliott is preceded in death by his parents, Roe Olen and Mattie Elliott.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Dorothy Elliott of Moffat, one son, Donald Wayne Elliott and wife Vanessa of Moffat, three grandchildren, Dalton Wayne Elliott and his wife Michelle of Temple, Shelby Lynn Elliott Karnowski and her husband Jarrett of Belton, Sophie Elizabeth Elliott of Belton and one great-grandson Benjamin Wayne Elliott.
