Bradley Gene (Brad) Whitman

Brad Whitman, age 62 of Temple, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018 peacefully, surrounded by family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 10:00am Thursday, May 3, 2018 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church located at 1911 W. Avenue H, Temple, TX. Mr. Whitman was born January 26, 1956 in Pendleton, Oregon to Edward and Dollie Whitman. He attended high school in Bridgeport, NE. He worked in construction and as a contractor in various locations in Colorado and Nebraska. He was known to be a man that could get it done. He was reliable and a strong leader and was loved and respected by those who worked with and for him. Brad loved playing music, he played the guitar and bass. Known for his huge heart, his greatest passion was playing and ministering for the Lord. Survivors include his wife, D. Davis Whitman, three daughters, Angela Whitman, Jennifer Hathaway and husband; Roy and Badina Bevins and husband Joe, two sons, Bradley Whitman Jr. and Rocky Whitman and seven grandchildren, Michael and Haven Whitman, Bradley Whitman III, Evan Whitman, Jaxon Whitman, Jamie and Joey Bevins. Also surviving is her mother, Dollie Whitman, sister, Tammy Kaulback and brothers, Chuck, Stan, Danny and Troy Whitman.
