Visitation will be 5-7 PM Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10:30AM Thursday, September 1, 2022 with Rev. Michael Paschall officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple.
Bobby was born January 2, 1957 in Temple,Texas to Bobby Charles Reese, Sr. and Minesue Wright Reese. He was the middle child of five siblings. He grew up in McGregor, Texas, where he and his family were very active in the community. Growing up he played various sports, was a member of the First United Methodist Church, and graduated from McGregor High School in 1975. Bobby went on to attend MCC and The University of Texas. He moved to Temple in 1980 and made it his home. Bobby worked for BNSF Railroad as a Conductor and retired after 35 years of service. He was also a member of the United Transportation Union.
He was preceded in death by his parents Bob and Sue Reese.
Bobby is survived by his wife; Karon Reese of Temple, Son; Bobby Reese, III and wife Katrina of Wildwood, Mo. Daughter; Terri Harper, and husband Jeff of Midland, Tx., Stepson; Brandon Howard, and wife Brandi of Harker Heights, Tx., Stepdaughter; Bonnie Farr and husband Brandon of Salado, Tx., 8 Grandchildren, 2 Brothers; Randy Reese and wife Kathy of Pflugerville, Tx., Gerry Reese, Sr., and wife Sue of Temple Tx. 2 Sisters; Diane Hope and husband Jim of Georgetown, Tx., Donna Davidson and husband Paul of California, MD., and several nieces and nephews.
