Bill Green was born June 6, 1949 in Fort Dodge, Iowa to Billie Green and Grace Cahill Green. Bill met his Savior, Jesus face to face on February 2, 2024. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter and cherished memories.
Bill wed Molly Beck Green, on September 15, 1967. Bill and Molly were married 56 years. They have two daughters, Carolyn Green Deevers and Chasady Green Mirkes.
Bill took pride in his children and grandchildren. The grandchildren named him "Happy" and brought him immeasurable joy in life. He also adored his faithful cockapoo side-kick, Coco. Happy loved watching his grandchildren grow into the amazing young adults they are. He enjoyed watching their various activities and sporting events through the years.
After owning his own fiberglass business in Eagle Grove, Iowa for a decade, Bill, Molly and the girls relocated to Stillwater, Oklahoma where he entered into the car business. Helping people purchase and care for their cars proved to be a rewarding career. Bill was a car expert and enthusiast, specifically muscle cars. His favorite muscle car was his black 1971 Dodge Challenger R/T. When he retired, he and Molly relocated to Temple, TX.
Bill loved Jesus and served for many years as an elder. He was a quiet and humble leader, preferring to work behind the scenes.
Bill is survived by his wife, Molly Green of Temple, Texas. His daughters, Carolyn Deevers and husband Arnold of St Peters, MO. His daughter, Chasady Mirkes and husband Curtis of Temple, Texas. Grandchildren Riley Deevers Young (Ricky), Jackson Deevers, and Colson Deevers of St. Peters, MO. Carlee Mirkes Hollinger (Alan) of Waco, TX, Camdyn Mirkes and Caylin Mirkes of Temple, TX. His siblings. Pam Hinton, Curtis Green, Steven Green, Cindy West, Scott Green, Kelly Fluharty, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Timothy Lee Green, who gave his life in service to our country.
