Beth Buhl

Beth Buhl, 78, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, December 11, 2023, in Waco. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, December 15, 2023, at Connally/Compton Funeral Home, 4400 West Waco Drive, Waco, Texas. Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, December 16, 2023, at 2:30 PM at Connally/Compton Funeral Home.

Anne “Beth” (Henderson) Buhl was born on December 4, 1945, in Fort Knox, KY to Clyde “Red” William Henderson and Barbara Ann (Scarlett) Henderson. Since her father was in the Army, she lived in many places including Japan and Germany. She graduated from nursing school in 1968. She married William “Bill” Edward Buhl that same year and they were married 55 years. They lived in Illinois, Utah and Texas. She loved mentoring others, decorating, gardening, teaching Bible study and especially being with her family playing games.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her loving husband, Bill of Waco, TX; daughter Lisa (Buhl) Daily and husband, Scott of Waco, TX; Tracy (Buhl) McCowin and husband, Dan of Cypress, TX; brother, Tom Henderson and wife, Linda of Sherman, TX; and four grandchildren, Daniel McCowin, Megan Daily, Jacob McCowin and Rebekah Daily.

Since we are celebrating the life of Beth, please wear bright colors.
