Katherleen A. Davis

Katherleen Arnold Davis, 78, of Temple Terrace, FL, passed away on December 4, 2024 in Temple Terrace. Katherleen was born in Tampa, FL to Robert and Betty Arnold on August 28, 1946. She went to Hillsborough High School in Tampa. She married Lou Davis on December 12, 1970 in Tampa. She earned her Doctorate from The University of Southern Mississippi. She worked as an exceptional educator and beloved counselor with the majority of years in Hillsborough County Public Schools over her four decades of service. She was a dedicated military wife who followed and supported her husband to numerous military posts. She earned eight degrees including her Doctorate in Special Education of Adolescents.

Katherleen is preceded in death by her beloved parents and her loving husband of 43 years. She is survived by her daughters Capricia (Perry) and Kimmie (Eric), her cousins Kathy (Kevin) and Jeanne (Sonny) and a multitude of friends who cherished her brilliance, humor, compassion, and grace.

Visitation will be held from 5:30-6:30 on Monday, December 9, 2024, at Blount & Curry Funeral Home in Temple Terrace, the Funeral Service will begin at 6:30. The family of Katherleen wishes to extend sincere thanks to all caregivers and friends who have generously provided support.
