SHEFFIELD, Bart, 53 passed away on Sept 20, 2014 at home while surrounded by his loving family. He fought a long and courageous battle with brain cancer for over 12 years. He was born in Macon, Ga on Sept 10, 2014. He graduated from Pharmacy College of the University of Georgia. He was an avid sports fan and especially loved his Georgia Bulldogs, Tampa Bay Lightning and the Tampa Bay Rays. Bart was a former Pharmacy District Manager for Kmart Pharmacy for over 21 years. He was preceded in death by his Father, Hobert Houston Sheffield, Sr. He is survived by his adoring wife, Gina Sheffield, his Mother, Jenny Nixon Sheffield, and his three children, Heather (Jesse) Dubey, Nick Helton and Houston Sheffield. Bart will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. A memorial service in celebration of his wonderful life will be held at their church, LifePoint Community Church, 8702 Hunters Lake Dr, Tampa on Friday, Oct 3, 2014 at 2:00. The family asks that everyone wear Red and Black in honor of his beloved Bulldogs. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations are made to H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center Research for Neurology Fund in honor of Bart Sheffield. The family invites you to attend a reception immediately following the service.
