Graye A. S. Rueppel

Graye Amythist Shiloh Rueppel, 19, of Tekonsha, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014 at his home. He was born February 7, 1995 in Marshall to Scott and Charity (Winger) Rueppel. He was adopted by Roy and Pati Swafford.

Graye graduated from Tekonsha High School in 2013 where he played football, basketball and ran track. He made the winning two point conversion in 2013 at the Homecoming game. Graye loved music, poetry and his little brother and sister. He enjoyed spending time with friends, especially Anna Rueppel, Aaron Rueppel and Sara Winger.

He is survived by his parents, brothers and sisters, Corbin Swafford, Chloe Swafford, Roy & Danica Swafford, Tracy & Mike Simmons, Faith & Randy Ludwick, Sherry Selby, Jim Swafford, Phil Swafford, Robert & Cee Cee Swafford, Charity Winger and Clint Winger. Graye was preceded in death by his Grandma Rueppel.

Visitation will be Friday, April 4, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Tekonsha. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 1:00 p.m.at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Barbara Pryor of the Union Church United Church of Christ officiating. Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Tekonsha. Memorial contributions may be made to the Tekonsha High School Athletic Department
