William "Bill" C. Gleason

William “Bill” C. Gleason passed away peacefully after a short illness on Monday, May 30, 2016. Bill was born in London, Ontario, Canada November 7, 1959. He was preceded in death by a sister, Beatrice. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 32 years, Patty; three children, Patrick (Jessica) Gleason, Sean (Hannah) Gleason and Katie (Jeremiah) Valdez; his three adored grandchildren, Addison, Christopher and Brody; sisters, Colleen (Jerry) Vanderhoeven, Sharon (Fred) Butt and Judi (Vic) Kramins; brothers, Kenneth and Bryan (Kim) Buchanan; along with numerous much loved nieces, nephews and cousins. Bill was a gentle, loving man who put everyone ahead of himself. He was devoted to his family and his greatest joys in life were his precious grandchildren. Bill had a servant's heart, quietly and faithfully serving the Lord for 15 years in AWANA and ministering to little ones in the nursery. Bill did not seek recognition on earth; instead, his reward has been received in heaven, hearing the words, Well-done, good and faithful servant, from the One who matters, his Savior, Jesus. A memorial service to honor Bill's earthly life will take place Thursday, June 2, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Citrus Park, 7705 Gunn Hwy., Tampa, 33625. Family and friends may visit at 10:00 a.m. and the service will take place at 11:00 a.m.
