Thomas "Tom" Michael Cummings

CUMMINGS, Thomas Michael “Tom”, 71, passed away April 17, 2020. He was a graduate of Plant High. Tom served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was highly decorated, earning several medals, including two Purple Hearts.

He excelled in his career as an Engineer in Telecommunications; he and his wife traveled around the United States installing landlines. Tom recently retired as an Inspector in the Telecommunications industry. He loved time spent with his family, spoiling his dogs, and being out on the water, lake or ocean.

His brother Jim precedes him in death. Tom is survived by; Terri, his beloved wife of 37 years, son Shawn Cummings; (Angel), daughters, Rhonda Tremblay (Don) and Jennifer Cantrell (Steve); four grandchildren; Jonathan Tremblay, Skyla Cummings, Taylor Cantrell, and Dylan Cantrell, brother Paul Cummings and wife, extended family and friends.

A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be conducted 11 a.m., Friday, May 1, 2020 at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa, FL 33610.
