Shirley M. Miller, age 92, a long-time resident of Tampa, Florida passed away on June 23, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Leon and Anna (Aaronson) Zagury. She is survived by her children Marylyn S. Miller of Tampa, Florida; Joanne Edwards and her husband Steve of Tampa, Florida; Judith Miller and her husband William Keavany of Sherborn, Massachusetts; Aileen Cohen and her husband Jonathan of Bethesda, Maryland, six grandchildren, one great grandchild and her brother, Morley Zagury of Encinitas, California. She was predeceased by her husband, Norman R Miller and a brother, Ordwin Zagury, of New Jersey. Shirley grew up in New York and New Jersey. She and her husband Norman lived on Long Island and New Jersey before settling in Monroeville, Pennsylvania. She spent the last 40 years living in Tampa, Florida. She earned her B.A. degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1965, she worked as an editor of dictionaries for New World Publishing and as a freelance book editor. Services will be held at Garden of Memories, 4207 East Lake Avenue, Tampa, Florida on June 26, 2016 at 2:00 pm.
