Sandra C. Thrower passed away on September 1, 2015 at the age of 69. A native of Tampa, she served 35 years in the Hillsborough County school system as a Principal at Forest Hills Elementary School, retiring in 2012. She is preceded in death by her father, Gerald Chetham. She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Cheatham; three sons, Mitchell Thrower (Brenda), Brent Thrower (Tori) and Eric Thrower; 8 grandchildren, Mitchell, Alexandra, Jason, Grant, Brooke, Grace, Tensley and Addyson; sister, Carmie Cheatham; brothers, Dana Chetham (Joy) and Shaun Chetham (Margie) and one niece, Alexandria Cheatham. A visitation will be held on Monday, September 7, 2015 from 4:00-7:00 pm at Blount & Curry Funeral Home Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W. Bearss Avenue, Tampa, 33618. A funeral mass will be on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 2:00 pm, St. Paul Catholic Church, Tampa, Florida.
