Roland was a devout Catholic and truly set an example of loving others more than himself. He sang in the church choir and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Roland was the life of the party and will be missed by all who knew him. His talent and passion for singing and impersonating Elvis will be a favored memory. He loved softball and played until he was 72 years of age. He was a huge Yankees fan and will be remembered as always wearing a Yankees cap. He never met a stranger and sometimes you wonder what he would say next.
Roland is now in paradise with his maker, but his legacy of love and selflessness will be in our hearts forever.
