Bob was a true friend and business associate of mine.R.I.P.

Bob was always so gracious to help with swing instructions & had a lot of patience with me.  I was fortunate when my mentor Dick Bowers introduced me to Bob many years ago.
Bob was always a gentleman & I will miss his 
friendly smile & never give up attitude.

So sorry we could not attend due to out of town.

I am so sorry to hear about Bob. My thoughts and prayers are with Libby, Linda and the whole family.

It has been a privilege to know Mr. Cornett while working at Avila CC   

Seeing his love of golf and his years spent around the club have been a joy.   I have had the opportunity to meet many of his friends and family when he played.  

Here's to his life and a game well played.

I didn’t know Bob for very long, but the time I did get to know him and spend with him, I will cherish those moments and memories forever. He was truly genuine, one in a million. I consider it a honor and privilege to have known him and to call him my friend. He was a true inspiration.

Regretfully,  we only got to know Bob for a short time; however,  we all expressed we wished we had met sooner. In the short time we knew him, his life was a testimony of courage and fortitude. Our deepest condolences go out to the family and we look forward to seeing Bob again in glory!

Bob was an outstanding golfer, businessman, friend , generous giving person and loving husband and father. He used his time productively at his various businesses, and was a helpful giving fellow on the golf range, in his church and with his faithful friends. 
I loved spending time with He and Linda over many years at Idlewild Baptist Church, at events for Executive Ministries, and with our activities in Washington DC for The Christian Embassy. Bob was a wise and well experienced business mind and was open and helpful in contributing sound advice, helpful counsel and a generous helping hand to numerous important organizations.
I appreciated spending time on the golf course with Bob, and saw so many of his spectacular shots with every club in his bag. Bob had a all around sound, amazing game from sand wedge to fairway irons and precision long drives , but all who played with him knew that his putting was just outstanding and was a rival for a professional. Bob was a helpful and giving coach and I can still hear him calling out his trademark “Stay behind the ball”, or “swing down the line’, ‘don’t open up , don’t come out early”.  
Bob had businesses well Led, A wife well Loved, a game well Played and a Faith in Christ well Learned and Lived.

My deepest sympathies and prayers to Bob's family. If I may I would like to share one of my earliest memories of Bob. I had just moved to Florida and had an opportunity to play a round of golf with Bob. After hitting a drive, I muttered to myself oh there's that fade again. Bob cocked his head and looked at me with a big smile and said, "Charlie that's not a fade, that's a slice! Rest in peace Bob may the Lord be with you.

I'll always remember Bob working hard in the office in the corner with his door open. He would always stop what he was doing to talk to you when you needed him, and chat with you if he thought you needed it. His warm greetings and optimism were truly comforting, even during life's roughest spots. He was a godly man and father to many, many, more people in a spiritual way than I think he realized. We will mourn his departure from us, and pray to meet him again where he is now.

Robert was the kindest most  caring man. He helped me so much when I was young. I will never forget him. Rest in peace, Robert
