Robert Bordonaro

Robert was an active member and former treasurer at his Elks Lodge 708, and formally served the community as a leader of Boy/Cub Scout 245. He received his Associates Degree from St. Petersburg Junior College and furthered his education by attending the University of South Florida and receiving his Bachelor's Degree in Independent Studies. Robert retired from Shriners Children's Hospital after serving as their Corporate Director in materials management for over a decade.

Robert is survived by his son Christopher Bordonaro and spouse Karla; daughter Rebecca Bordonaro; his brother Nunzio "Joe" Bordonaro and spouse Maryann; his brother John Bordonaro and spouse Patricia; and sister in law Linda Bordonaro; his five grandchildren Ashley Phillips, Everett McManamy, Gabrielle Phillips, Alexander Phillips and Laila Massicotte. Robert also leaves behind his best friend Kathy Firman to forever cherish his memory.

Robert was preceded in death by brother Anthony Bordonaro.

A visitation for Robert will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Blount & Curry Life Event Center, 605 S MacDill, Tampa, FL 33609. A funeral service will occur Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 11:00 at Blount & Curry Life Event Center. Followed by a 2:00 pm burial at Myrtle Hill.
