Paul was a dear and close friend with a zany sense of humor. He helped me out in a very difficult period during my college years and am eternally grateful.  RIP.

So appreciative of Paul's service and sacrifice for his country.  A true patriot and servant unselfishly helping others....human and fur, every chance he could!  He never bragged or even mentioned his recognition received from his military career, having received the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, and numerous other recognitions.  Paul always took time to talk, never complained about chronic pain or challenges from injuries sustained in Vietnam.   Surely his father, also military career, and many other military friends have given him the ultimate salute and grand tour in Heaven.   His joy now complete in the presence of his Savior, Jesus, we can only imagine no more pain and happiness beyond measure.  Thank you, Paul, for a lifetime of honor and service to your family and country.

Paul was a wonderful friend and neighbor and he will be greatly missed. He was also so good to our children and such a giving, kind, and caring person. I was always so impressed at how despite his own physical difficulties he constantly went out of his way to help others. He struck me as the kind of person who in the military was a hard nosed, "gung ho" leader, but he really had the heart of a servant. We love and will miss you greatly Paul. "Hooah" - soldier on!
