Orvest D. Peterson Sr.

Peterson, TSgt Orvest Darrel, USAF (Ret.) 86 of Tampa, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018. He was born in Connersville, IN to the late Ralph Peterson and Lurena Fowler Peterson Bilbrey. After serving his country 23 years in the United States Air Force, he worked 15 years for Schlitz Brewery, then retired and spent several years traveling through the United States. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Roxanne; sons, Orvest Darrel, Jr of Tampa, Darrel Ray (Kim) of Tampa; daughters, Darla Ridenbaugh of Tennessee, Rene Wolf (Buddy) of Tennessee, Edie Crossley (Phil) of Land O’Lakes, Beth Cope (John) of Idaho, CayDee Veach (Gary) of Lakeland and CanDee Brandon (Keith) of Riverview; 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; and 3 sisters, Jane Hudson, Rosy Council, and ChiChi Peterson. Family and Friends are welcome to come and celebrate Darrel’s life and memory on Sunday, September 30, 2018 @ 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church Riverview, 8626 US 301, Riverview, FL 33578.
