Olga Ardisana Henriquez, 91, passed away on April 16, 2018. She was the wife of Frank Kenneth Henriquez and they shared 69 years of marriage together. Born in Tampa, Florida on September 30, 1926 she was the daughter of Manolo and Caridad Ardisana. She spent her childhood in Tampa and Chicago and attended the University of South Florida where she earned her Bachelor of Arts. She worked for Gulf Life Insurance company in Tampa and Gulf High School in New Port Richey as a Business Education teacher.
She was married at St. Andrews Church in Tampa, Florida on November 19, 1948 and had two daughters; Ardis Ann Henriquez Clark and Kay Ellen Henriquez Lee. She is survived by her husband Kenneth, her daughter Kay, her sons-in-law; Joe Clark and Robert Lee as well as four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She enjoyed her home, her family and was a wonderful cook. She and Ken took many exciting vacations together as she loved to travel and learn new things. She suffered from Alzheimer’s for eight years and was beautifully cared for by Saskia Colin. She passed peacefully at home.
The funeral service is Sunday, April 29 at noon at the Garden of Memories at 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa, Florida 33610.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Olga’s name to Lifepath Hospice of Florida.
