Nadine Jones

JONES, Nadine, 89, a native of Lutz passed away with her loving family by her side. She was preceded in death by her son, Donald Jones; brother, Lamar Dozier and her sisters, Martha Carlton and Mary Esther Roles. She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Junior Jones; her children, Duane Jones, Danny Jones (Gloria), David Jones, Denise Jones Delbaugh; brother, Floyd Dozier (Judy); sister, Delores Reams; grandchildren, Wendi, Cassi, Amy, Jessica, Ben, Julie, Jennifer, John; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Brenden, Declan, Samantha and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Nadine was a devoted member of Lake Carroll Baptist Church since 1952. She was actively involved in Sunday school, worked in the nursery and helped develop the day care at Lake Carroll Baptist. She loved traveling to the mountains with her husband, especially the Blue Ridge Parkway which they have traveled from beginning to the end. She enjoyed shopping for quilts and spending time with her family. Nadine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who was dearly loved and will be missed by all that knew and loved her. A funeral service will be held on 11:00am Monday, December 21, 2015 at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home-Carrollwood Chapel with the family receiving friends from 10:00am until the time of the service. Burial at Lake Carroll Cemetery will follow immediately after the service. In Lieu of flowers, donation can be made to Life Path Hospice.
