Monte Spencer Wood

Monte Spencer Wood passed away peacefully December 26, 2017, at the young age of 58. Monte was a lifelong resident of Tampa, an expert salesman in the Home and Car Audio Industry, winning many awards for his achievements. He was active in his community- coaching Pal Football for the Land O Lakes Gators and later helping with the Land O Lakes High School Football Department. Monte was a loving husband and father. He is survived by his wife, Mavis Wood; sons, Spencer Maurice and Harrison Montgomery; daughter, Elizabeth Holli; brothers, Jaime Wood and Trevor Wood; father-in-law, Hermagores Barreras; sister-in-law, Enelsa Moran (Aldo); brother-in-law, Leandro Barreras (Desiree); as well as many nieces and nephews. Monte leaves behind a huge hole in the hearts of those that loved him. 'Say not in grief 'he is no more' but live in the thankfulness that he was.' Celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 6-9PM with a visitation from 5-6PM. Shared memories are encouraged.
