Gigi and Don :  I can only imagine what you are going through today.  We are not supposed to loose our children before us.  Michael and I are sending so much love and prayers today.  I called the funeral home to see if it was being shared on the internet and was very sad to find out it was not.  I would have loved to see your beautiful faces and shared the service.  Regency Cove blessed Michael and I with so many memories, but the best part was the friends that we made and loved so dearly.  
Memories are a wonderful thing .... I know you have a million of Michael that will help you through this pain.  Love to your family today and always.

Dear Sonny, Gigi and Scotty, 
My deepest sympathy for your loss. This picture was from one of our trips to New Orleans. You know that he loved "Nawlins" or as Michael dubbed it, "The Big Sleazy". You were blessed to have had him as a son and brother and we all are truly blessed to have known Michael. Heaven is receiving a one in a million BEAUTIFUL SOUL. 

Nothing but fond memories. Cherished the time playing and competing in softball with Michael, Brad and Dana…..Michael and Dana were known as the “Wood Brothers” on the Soft Diamond and the Tampa Sports Bars where we celebrated our many victories…RIP Brother Mike…you will always be remembered.

How do you pack so much love for life steeped with enthusiasm and wrapped in a beautiful smile that illuminated every room Michael walked into - any day - any time - anywhere? This was Michael's amazing gift that he shared with everyone he met. So how did Michael acquire his amazing gift? It all started with his loving family.

I believe it began with unconditional loving parents like Sonny and Gigi LaBarbera who planted the seeds of character and optimism into their kids. Coupled with an amazing brother Scott who can do just about anything and you have a foundation from which to launch that's simply hard to beat!

Over the past year Michael reached out to me often just to chat. We'd play catch up in about thirty minutes and he'd end with, "Hope to see you soon, Cuz'. 

I'm grateful to have spent so much time with Michael LaBarbera and for the laughter we shared. Wish we had more time together. Guess we'll just have to wait till we're all home dancing at the foot of God's throne. 

Dear Gigi, Sonny, & Scotty .

Our deepest sympathies go out to Gigi, Sonny, Scott, and Logan. Michael was a childhood friend. We played for the Jets in little league football. Later, our daughters would attend TSFC together and Michael and I would chaperone our girls and reconnect our friendship. They were the most awesome field studies! Michael was a good friend with the most amazing parents! I will miss his humor the most.  Again, so sorry for your loss my most beautiful Gigi. The Mull family will keep you in our prayers. I got the privilege to work with Mike at America II for several years. Parties on the Island 🏝  by Fort Desoto. Not sure who's boat took us out there, but Fun Times! He would bring Logan into work & she would run up to me & give me the biggest hugs. She doesn't remember me now that she's older. Lol! And him & I are such huge Gators Fans! 🐊
Mike was such a great guy! Sorry we never kept in touch more! Gone too soon! RIP Mike 💓

This picture was taken on our way home from Homosassa. We had the best time! We actually always had the best time together! Michael and his family became my Florida Family while living in Florida for 20 years.  He was always so generous, kind, loving & funny! He taught my son how to cook and we always enjoyed cooking together, getting together for birthdays, Christmas Eve, going to concerts, Italian dinners or just hanging out watching sports together.  I'll continue doing the "LaBarbera Shuffle" for you, Michael. Thank you for teaching me that special family dance. Can hardly wait to do it with you again in Heaven some day. My condolences to Mike's family.  I had the pleasure of working with him at America II and enjoyed many years of his friendly personality.  My family will be praying for you all during this time.

Lifelong buddies. Michael, you will never be forgotten. I used to refer to you as LaB, like my Dad called your Dad. It was our little gesture of respect for our History together which dates back to around 1970. I love you LaB and I will see you again upstairs one day.
