ALLEGRA, Michael, 48, of Odessa passed away on September 30, 2016. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Allegra. Survivors include his loving wife of 21 years, Beth; his children, Hailey, Rachel, and James; his mother, Diane Allegra of Mount Dora; his siblings, Denise Allegra of Tampa and his brother Richard Allegra of Tampa; and his furry companion Casey. Born in Massachusetts, Mike lived most of his life in the Tampa Bay area. He graduated from Tarpon Springs High School with the class of '86. He went to the University of South Florida where he received his Bachelors in computer science in 1991. Mike worked for OpenTEXT, Inc for many years in quality assurance. Family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Friday, October 7th at the Blount & Curry, Oldsmar/West Hillsborough Chapel, 6802 Silvermill Dr, Tampa with a prayer service at 7pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am on Saturday, October 8th at Incarnation Catholic Church, 5124 Gateway Dr, Tampa.
