Melba Rebecca Diaz

DIAZ, Rebecca “Becky” 70, of Tampa, passed away April 13, 2015. She was preceded in death by her son, Louis A. Diaz. Becky is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Louis Diaz; son, Timothy Diaz and his wife Lynn; daughter, Celena Markart; daughter-in-law, Kathleen Diaz; seven grandchildren, Ryan Diaz, Austin Diaz, Nikki Ellis, Joseph Markart, Jason Markart, Amanda Diaz, Julia Markart; three great-grandchildren, Jaden, Aubreanna, Anthony; sister, Diane LaPlante and her brother, Ray Booker. She retired from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office after 25 years of faithful service. Becky was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. Her life was her family in which she dedicated her entire heart and soul to. She was an extraordinary woman and true friend to many. She will be so very missed however you’ll find pieces of her within the eyes and smiles of her children and grandchildren. This is how her loving memory will live on.
