HARVEY, Mary-PhyllisDolcimascolo 67, passed away January 29, 2017 at Moffitt Cancer Center. She was born July 2, 1949, daughter of Samuel I. Dolcimascolo and Annie-Kate Brengle. Mary-Phyllis attended Helen Hill pre-school, Gorrie, Wilson, Plant High School, the Fashion Institute in Atlanta, and graduated from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta where she was a member of Chi Omega. Following graduation, she married John W. Harvey, her husband of 44 years and, with her husband, moved to and lived in New York, where she was the fashion merchandiser for Kellwood Company of Anne Klein women's wear. Mary-Phyllis was a member of the Rose Garden Circle, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and was a volunteer with the Women of the Church at Hyde Park Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her husband, John W. Harvey; her two daughters, Caroline Elizabeth Harvey and Mary Kate Harvey; her mother, Annie-Kate Brengle Carpenter; her brother, Samuel B. Dolcimascolo (and his wife, Mary Margaret); niece, Mollie Dolcimascolo; nephew, Paul Selby Dolcimascolo (and his wife, Jessica, and their children, Annabelle and Charlotte); and numerous cousins and friends. A graveside service will be at 3 pm, Monday, February 6 at Myrtle Hill Cemetery (please enter the front gate from 50th), with Rev. Kenneth Shick, formerly of Hyde Park Presbyterian Church, presiding.
