Marlene Velis went to be with the Lord August 12, 2018 at the age of 70. Born in Cuba on December 12, 1947 to the late Modesto & Secundina Velis, Marlene lived in Cuba until 1981 when she moved to Miami, FL until 2004 when she moved to Tampa. A Christian by faith, Marlene enjoyed playing bingo and talking on the phone with her best friend. Preceded in death by her son Osmanis Caballero, Marlene is survived by her son Roberto Caballero, Daughter Llusnalvis Caballero, her brother Papi, her sisters Teresa, Olga, Cuca, Maraglis and Noelia, her grandchildren Roberto Caballero Jr., Manuel Aguiler Jr., Osmanis Aguilera and her great grandchildren Roberto Caballero III, Honesty Caballero, Jayvian Caballero and Solace Caballero.
