LEON, Maria Elena, 81, of Tampa, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2025. She is survived by her husband Gilberto Leon; daughter Marlene Gonzalez; son, Mario Leon; grandsons, David (Janell) and Andrew Gonzalez; great grandchildren, Lilliana, Reid, Elena; sister, Caridad Prado; many nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will receive friends for Visitation Saturday, April 5, 2025 between 12 and 1 PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home, 7209 North Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa. Services will begin at 1 PM at the funeral home, followed by Interment at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
