Kenneth Ray Crosson

CROSSON, Kenneth R."Ray," 85 of Brandon, passed away peacefully December 2, 2024. He fought a long hard battle with Parkinson’s disease and suffered from dementia. Ray was a devoted member and deacon of Faith Baptist Church of Seffner, Fla. First and foremost he had a love for God, other loves were baseball and genealogy. He helped organize the first Crosson Family reunion in 1977.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 43 years, Diane Crosson, his daughter Michele Crosson, and his brothers Donald Crosson and Curtis Crosson. Ray is survived by his loving family; daughters, Raelyn (Charles) Whitehead, Robin (Damon) Dalton, Jennifer (Jason) Miller, and Aimee (Cody) Tate; sister, Shirley Smith; grandchildren, Kenny, Brittani ,and Trent Whitehead, Jordyn and Jayce Miller, Amelia and Miles Tate; great-grandchildren, Ethan and Noah Whitehead, Colton and Camryn Young, Trent Jr and Ace Whitehead.

Funeral services will be officiated by Pastor Tate Pierce of Faith Baptist Church of Seffner, on Tuesday December 10th at 11am with viewing at 10am. with gravesite to follow. Pallbearers will be Charles Whitehead, Jason Miller, Cody Tate, Damon Dalton, Kenneth Whitehead, Trent Whitehead, Marty Martin; Honorary pallbearers will be Jayce Miller and Miles Tate. Ray was a wonderful Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather; his legacy will live on through his family. Ray's family is confident that God sent one of His angels to take him into the presence of God, where he is resting in His arms.
