Jose M. Calvo

Jose came to the United States in 1981 after briefly living in Spain. He then moved on to Pomona,California accompanied by his wife and son to reunite with other family members. There he lived for 4 years. Later, in 1985 he moved to Florida to the Tampa area making this his home and where he became a Trucking business owner/operator. He later relocated to the Spring Hill area in 2005 where he reinvented himself as a Landscape business owner until the year 2016.

He was a successful businessman known and loved by many. A loyal, kind and generous man, a true friend and above all the most amazing husband, father, and grandfather. Without a doubt he will truly be missed. He is survived by his wife, son, daughter in law, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

We ask that you join us in celebrating his life. Visitation will be Sunday, August 28, 2022 between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 East Lake Avenue Tampa. Services will begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by Interment at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
