Kennebunk, ME, Betsy Lawrence Inglis of New York, NY and Bonnie Inglis Malone of Buffalo, NY. He is preceded in death by parents, John and Elizabeth Inglis.
John was born on August 18, 1954 in Presque Isle, ME, the only son of Elizabeth Stephenson and John Henry Inglis. He attended Colgate University and was a President of the Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. Upon graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History in 1976, he attended Case Western Reserve University Law School where he graduated with a Juris Doctor degree in 1979. After a successful internship, John began as an associate with Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick in Toledo, Ohio. In 1985, he co-founded a new office in Tampa and served as the first Managing Partner for Shumaker in Florida. Over his 42 year career at Shumaker, John laid the foundation for what the Tampa office has become.
Private services will be held at the convenience of family and friends.
