John Philip Alessi

John Philip Alessi, known affectionately as Johnny, passed away on September 19, 2023, in Tampa, Florida at the age of 60. Johnny was born on August 19, 1963, in Tampa, Florida, and was a beloved member of his community.

Johnny was an entrepreneur and sales professional who had a passion for life and his family. He loved exploring different restaurants, trying fresh produce, and spending time fishing. His enthusiasm for life was infectious and he cherished his time with loved ones.

Johnny is survived by his loving daughter, Dreama Marie Alessi (Keitlin), his sister Dena Alessi-Bowden (Ed), his brothers Philip Alessi Jr. (Amanda) and Jason Alessi, as well as his nieces Giavanna Bowden and Aleah Alessi, and nephews Philip Alessi III, Aiden Alessi, and Pierson Alessi. He also leaves behind many other family members and lifelong friends who will miss him dearly. Johnny was preceded in death by his mother, Angelina Alessi, his father, Philip Alessi Sr., and his nephew Joshua Bowden.

Johnny was a West Tampa boy who attended Jefferson High School. He was a dedicated member of Revealing Truth Ministry, where he found solace and was able to maintain his relationship with Christ.

Services honoring Johnny's life will be held at Gonzalez Funeral Home, located at 7209 N. Dale Mabry Hwy., Tampa, Florida 33614. Visitation will take place on September 30, 2023, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a service at 4:00 PM. A reception will be held afterward at Alessi Manufacturing, situated at 5202 Eagle Trail Dr., Tampa, Florida 33634.

Johnny will be remembered for his zest for life, his love for his family, and his indomitable spirit. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him
