ORTIZ, Hector A., 84, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2015 in Tampa, FL. Born on May 19, 1930, he was a veteran of the Korean War. A loving husband and father, he leaves behind son Edgar L. Ortiz and Jaime Ortiz; daughter Gisela Ortiz Morrows; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren as well as six siblings in the local area. Hector was preceded in death by his loving wife of 47 years, Candelaria Reyes Ortiz. A visitation will take place on Wednesday April 29, 2015 and Thursday April 30, 2015 from 5 to 9PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 10AM at the funeral home with interment to follow at Fl. National Cemetery.
