Evelyn Jean Larsen was born in Quincy Massachusetts on March 2nd 1932. She grew up in Bay Ridge Brooklyn and went to high school at Fort Hamilton. She was an executive secretary in Manhattan for many years. Evelyn retired to Tampa, Florida to be closer to her children and grandchildren. Her passion was reading a good mystery novel and doing puzzle books and she loved to travel.
She is preceded in death by her husband Louis Stokes Larsen. Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Denise Kassel and Jeanette Volta; grandchildren, Marissa Volta Flores, Erica Fernandez, Olivia Kassel, and Renee LaBarbera; and she leaves behind her great-grandchildren, Ethan Volta, Chloe Flores, James, Emma, Grace and Kate LaBarbera.
Evelyn was a supporter of Paralyzed Veterans of America and in lieu of flowers a donation in her memory to that organization would be greatly appreciated.
