Esther T Robertson

Esther Ruth Thompson Robertson, 91, died peacefully on November 22, 2022 at her home in Lutz, Florida. Born January 20, 1931, in Gulfport, Mississippi, Esther was the daughter of Phillip Isaac (P.I.) Thompson and Mamie Lavonia Coker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles and two daughters, Jo Elizabeth Robertson (Martin Hartmann) and Mary Dianne Robertson. Esther is survived by daughters, Lorie Robertson (Gregg Gronlund) and Nelda (Steven) Iozzino; son, Philip (Kelly) Robertson; 11 grandchildren and their spouses; 8 great-grandchildren and a large loving extended family.

Esther earned her R.N. nursing degree from Hillsborough Community College and had a long career serving as a nurse. She had a true passion for animals, enjoyed travelling, was a gifted cook, a doll maker and collector, and a talented artist. For many years, she was a member of the Red Hat Society. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
