Dale Horne

Larry “Dale” Horne, born to Lyla Alice Rawlins-Horne and Edd Alexander Horne on June 23, 1949 in Tampa, FL, peacefully went to his Heavenly home on April 4, 2019. Dale was a proud Master Mason and US Navy Veteran. The greatest joy of his life was being the best husband, father and doting grandfather he could be.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ted B. Horne.

Mr. Horne is survived by his wife of 48 years, Joy A. Horne, daughters Nikki Goins (Jason), Rhonda Copeland (Jason), grandchildren, Shelbie Goins, Joshua Goins (Jessica) and Logan Copeland. Also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews that he cherished dearly. Dale also held a very special lifelong bond with cousins Margaret A. Mulford and Cathi Pfiefer.

Dale had a unique way of lighting up any room with his charismatic sense of humor and lighthearted personality. Throughout many years of major health struggles and life altering ailments, he continuously brought joy to anyone and everyone in his presence, and will be remembered by many as one of the most strong, determined men. We take comfort in knowing his body is now restored and he’s rejoicing with our Lord. This isn’t goodbye, it’s see you later, Dude.
