peacefully surrounded by his family. He was a graduate of Hillsborough High School class of 1957.
Britt married Judy Helen Louise McSwain in 1960 and they made their home in Tampa, Florida.
Britt was a manager at Jack’s Cookie Company, a Plumber and Pipefitter with Local Union 123, and the owner of both Bernard Plumbing and Gabrielle’s Glen Preschool.
He was preceded in death by his wife Judy, his parents Bill and Donie Bernard, his brother Bobby Bernard and his grandson Jimmy Stokes. His remaining family includes his brother, Terry Bernard (Liz). Daughters: Debaney Benton( Duane), Janeen Stokes (Lamar) and Cherlyn Bernard-Stokes (Robin). Grandchildren: Britaney Dziedzic (Joe), Kyle Stokes (Laci), Delaina Benton, Jason Stokes (Jana), Jacob Stokes (Laura Nell), Jesse Stokes, Cristalyn Bates (Peter), Clarissa Stokes and Cessaley Ray (Brian). Additionally, eighteen beloved Great Grandchildren.
