MARCANTONI, Bessie R. of Tampa passed away July 16, 2018. She was born in Havana, Cuba on February 9, 1928 to Stewart and Maria Rhodes. A Tampa resident for 75 years, she was the head bookkeeper for the City of Tampa for many years. Survivors include her children, Victor, Stewart, Charlie, Bessie, and Annie; grandchildren, Frank, Nicole, Matthew, Stewart, and Christian, and great grandchildren, Frankie, Victoria, Sophia, Lilac Grace, Sage, Noah, Stella, Ashton, and Clair. She will be missed by all of us. Life will not be the same without her. A funeral service will be held at 1:30pm on Thursday, July 19 at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home, Oldsmar/West Hillsborough Chapel, 6802 Silvermill Dr., Tampa followed by procession to Myrtle Hill Memorial Park. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
