Ashleigh Victoria Munro, age 24, died in a tragic car accident on Friday, November 10, 2017, in Moultrie, GA. Ashleigh is survived by her father and mother, John B. Munro, III and Cynthia J. Munro originally of Tampa, currently living in Sapphire, NC; her brother, John B. Munro, IV, of San Francisco, CA; aunt, Melinda J. Holmes, of Lakeland, FL; and an extension of family and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, John B. Munro, Jr. and Esther H. Munro, of Tampa; and her grandparents, Fred S. Hastings, Jr. and Dorothy M. Hastings, of Tampa. Ashleigh was born on June 1, 1993 in Tampa, Florida to parents John and Cynthia Munro. She graduated with Honors from Cambridge Christian School in 2011. She began her college education at University of Florida in Gainesville and graduated with a BS in Health Education in 2015, and then went on to graduate with High Honors from University of Central Florida’s Nursing School with a BSRN in 2016. She moved to Atlanta, Georgia and accepted a position as an Emergency Department RN at St. Joseph’s of Emory Hospital, where she worked just over a year. Ashleigh was a great friend and a loving daughter. She will truly be missed.
