Alvin "Uncle Al" Anthony Roberts

Of Tampa, Uncle Al passed away at the age of 95 on Friday, May 10th, with family at his bedside. Born and raised in Greensberg, PA, he spent over 30 years working for Wolf Brothers/Hart Schaffner Marx Clothiers, where he was renowned for his expertise and talent in showcasing men’s and women’s fashion. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Angie Marchetta Roberts; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Louis and Billie Ann Marchetta; and sister-in-law, Vee Marchetta.

He is survived by his loving niece and nephew, Roxanna Alvarez (Manny) and Mark Marchetta (Roxanne); and sister-in-law Violet Greco (Huntsville); Stephanie and Steve Hunt, Rebecca Greco, and Lynne Greco (Huntsville); grandnieces and nephews Aaron Alvarez (Nina), Ansley Lamb (Joe), Laura Marchetta, Jennifer Marchetta, Andrew Hunt, Michael Hunt (Huntsville); and great-grandnieces and nephews Angela Jo Alvarez, Francesca Alvarez, Drew Lamb, and Tyler Lamb. Uncle Al was kind and mild-mannered. He was a loving, selfless, and generous man who will be deeply missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
