He was born in Chillicothe Ohio on November 17, 1947 to Donald Michael Jones, Jr. and Louise Grady Pearl (Williams) Jones.
He was married to Nita Kay (Stauffer) Jones on July 6, 1972. Terry retired from CSX Transportation as a Bridge and Building Supervisor after 30 years.
Papa, as he was know to his family, loved nothing more than spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Terry was preceded in death by his wife; parents; and brother, Tim Jones.
He is survived by his children, Bret Nelson ( Kristin) Jones of Chillicothe, Ohio, Lori Anne Jones of Tallahassee, Florida and Todd Neal (Thina) Jones of Tallahassee, Florida. He had three grandchildren, Todd Neal Jones Jr., Tristan Chelsea (Clint) Milner and Ty Nathan Jones. He has three brothers, Michael Jones (Teresa) of Chillicothe, Ohio, Ted Richard (Joretta) Jones of Beckley, West Virginia and Thomas Jones of Dallas, Texas.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
