I remember Bobby Chason from high school. He was an excellent athlete, starring in several sports. I looked up to him and respected him because I considered him a man's man. He always had time for underclassmen like myself and willingly shared his knowledge of playing various positions on the baseball diamond. Bobby will be missed by all his many friends and admirers. My heart and prayers are with family members, particularly his two fine sons, Bobby, Jr., and Courtney.

We are very sorry for your loss and you all will be in our prayers.

Sorry to hear of his passing... He was a good guy.

My Uncle Bobby, although I never knew it until I became an adult, was really my cousin. He always had a warm smile for me and real hugs of love. All though my years of growing up, there have been few people that I have cherish so dearly. When I moved back home, some time ago, there where two stops I had to make. Visiting my Uncle Bobby was one of them. We sat on the front porch talking about the old days, about our memories of our grandfather and grandmother and the old house.  I will surely miss his smile and the way he laughed, and his love for his kids, Bobby Jr. and Courtney and the love of his life Arlene.  Time has eclipsed all my childhood memories, both sweet and sour, but not that of my Uncle Bobby who so dearly loved Mexico Beach and dreamed of living there.  Yes, I will miss you, but you are never too far from my heart.  Rest now, you have gone home. I love you always.
