Phillip Stanley Godwin, age 61, passed away on January 14, 2017 in Tallahassee, FL.
Phillip was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Sylvester Godwin and his mother, Imogene Carter Godwin Monaghan.
He is survived by his brothers, Mike (Linda Ann) Godwin of Havana FL, Jimmy (Janet) Godwin, Dale Godwin, Ricky Godwin and sister Debbie (Ken) Metcalf all from Tallahassee FL, and sister Tammy (Richard) Tice of Bedford, Texas; his sons, Joseph (Sabrina) Godwin and Jason (Christie) Godwin; his grandchildren, Austin Godwin, Chyenne Godwin, Kayla Godwin and L. J. Godwin; many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM EST on January 16, 2017 at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, 1737 Riggins Road, Tallahassee FL. Those attending are encouraged to wear FSU attire.
