Momma, Nanny, Granny to many, and loved all.
Nancy was the business owner of the St. Marks Café, St. Marks Restaurant, multiple video stores, Café 20, Crossway Café, and a mobile food truck. Nancy was a devoted wife, mother, and friend. She graciously opened her door to anyone in need and was the caregiver to many. She never let anyone leave her home or her business hungry. She was known for her unwavering patience and giving spirit. She was also known for that “Eyebrow.” She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and a good cup of coffee.
Born in Jefferson county May 20, 1948 to Ben Reams and Shellie (Big Momma) Watson-Reams. Her family moved to Tallahassee, Florida. Then they moved to St. Marks, Florida where she spent most of her adult life and raised her family. This is where she began her career in the food industry.
She is preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Cathy-Jo Sherouse; her husband, Jim Nichols; her parents, Ben and Shellie Reams; and three brothers, Albert Reams, Reuben Reams, and Elmer (Dutchie) Reams, along with her many half-brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her devoted daughter, Wanda Boals and adopted daughter Misty Dew; grandchildren, Amber Harvey, Dylan Dew and Joshua Spence; her great-grandson, Colton Chason; her brother, Johnny Reams and his wife Rita; her niece, who was loved like daughter Debrah Vaillancourt; and many other nieces and nephews who were loved dearly.

The family invites everyone to celebrate the life of this amazing woman on Friday, July 2, 2021 at 4:00pm, with Chapel Services, officiated by Gwendolyn Williams, at 6:00pm, at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home, 1737 Riggins Road, Tallahassee, Florida. Burial will be held Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 10:00am, at Rocky Ford Cemetery in Lamont, Florida. Any and all are welcome.
