Marian Vera Shearhouse, aged 86, passed away on September 29, 2024, in Tallahassee, Florida. Born on January 19, 1938, Marian grew up in Savannah, where she attended Savannah High School. Throughout her life, Marian was known for her kindness and generosity, qualities that endeared her to all who knew her.
Marian dedicated her life to being a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family was her pride and joy, and she leaves behind a legacy of love and nurturing. She is survived by her daughters, Laura Hall (Allen) and Linda Shearhouse-Skeens; son, Tom Shearhouse (Eva); granddaughter, Angela Shearhouse; and sisters, Millie Brown and Annette Thompson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn and Walter Farlow, and brothers, Thomas and Robert Farlow.
A passionate doll collector, Marian found great joy in seeking out unique and beautiful pieces to add to her collection, a hobby that brought her much happiness throughout her years.
A memorial service will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery on October 7, 2024. Marian's life will be celebrated and remembered as one filled with love, care, and the warmth of family connections.
