Margaret "Peggy" Martin Shipman

Mrs. Margaret Martin Shipman, Tallahassee Florida, was called to be home with the Lord on the morning of July 16, 2022. She was joyfully reunited with her late husband Dr. William Franklin Shipman who passed away in 2018. Together they had four children ,12 grandchildren and were married 66 years.

Margaret, who was affectionately called Peggy was a life-giving soul. Anyone that knew her would tell you how much their time with her blessed them. She had a humble, compassionate, gentle spirit, that would encourage you, pray with you and leave you with a song in your heart. And her personal faith, trust, and dependence on Jesus Christ was the way she walked out each day. Always meek, which means strength under control, but also could pull out her mischievous teasing self if she needed to beat you in a game of cards.

She was a bright light that will continue to shine In the heart of all who knew her.

The visitation will be at Culley’s Funeral Home on 700 Timberlane Rd., Friday, July 22, 2022. The service will begin immediately after visitation at 11 in the parlor at Culley’s, with Reverend David Emmert officiating. Following the service there will be a private family graveside service.
