She was born June 3, 1932 in Claxton, Georgia -- daughter of Hagen and Mamie Rogers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Eddie and Herman, and a sister, Helen Zangaglia.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Woodrow W. "Snorkey" Lewis, her sons Woody (Kathy), Ricky
(Martha), and Terry ( Hilda); a devoted sister Evelyn Britt; six grandchildren, and three
great grandchildren.
She retired from the Florida State University Post Office and was an avid Seminole Booster. She was a member of Woodville Methodist Church, the Woodville Womens Club, and the American Business Womens Association.
The visitation will be Tuesday, December 14, from 6 to 8pm at Culleys MeadowWood Riggins Rd.
Donations can be made in her name to Big Bend Hospice or Woodville Methodist Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home in Tallahassee, FL.
